Did you know the relationship between North Adelaide Heritage Group and Pink, Paul Simon, Andre Rieu, Rihanna, Jesus Christ Superstar, Neil Young, Deep Purple, Byran Adams, Ivo Bligh in 2013... to mention a few....!

Answer -

We are the closest accommodation to the "Adelaide Entertainment Centre", "The Gov", and the "Adelaide Oval - Adelaide Cricket Grounds"

That's why North Adelaide is the place to be, with its proliferation of fabulous places to eat & drink, coupled with the most interesting architecture & history of all Adelaide.
A 10 minute walk, or a $10 taxi ride is just how close we are.

This South Australia accommodation is proudly South Australian owned & operated

April 2012 - Sussex Cottage

The transformation of the large rear courtyard of our State Heritage Listed c1855 Sussex Cottage is complete after plantings & re-design some 18 months ago.

Standard roses, box hedges, expaliated lemon tree & thyme between theCourtyard garden Sussex Cottage Mintaro slate are simply thriving thanks to our landscape gardener, Callum Pollett.

Guests have really appreciated the ambience of what has become an extra 'room'.

Coupled with our Tradies, Rob & Glen in reinstating the large original Germanic attic but now with a large scenic dormer window overlooking the thick vegetation that fills many of North Adelaide's gardens.

With a highly polished cork floor with an original large colorful Persian rug & light cream sloping walls with solid timber beams and original 150 year old British c1855 brick walls at either end & plenty of ultra modern L.E.D. downlights, it is a fabulous 3rd bedroom or alternative master bedroom.

Australian oak stairs are by leading Adelaide stair maker, 'Top Stairs' who have made oak hardwood with open installed stairs from the entrance sitting room which connects with the large courtyard garden via french doors.Sussex Cottage lounge with stairway to loft bedroom

Accroutments include quality queen ensemble by Sealy (the Rolls Royce of Sleeping), an Australian Victorian cedar chest of drawers, a Singaporean cane armchair & a canadian spindle back rocker of museum quality.

For the guests enjoyment a 2HP split system air conditioner is provided with remote control, as well as superior insulation over the whole roof is installed for comfort just for this bedroom.

Incidently the roof has under it's metal tile cladding, a wooden split Jarrah tiled roof from 150 years ago!
