Barossa Valley
Little more than an half hour north of Adelaide, the world-renowned Barossa Valley is the Southern Hemisphere's powerhouse of wine.

Clare Valley
An hour and a half north of Adelaide, the Clare Valley is a delightful day tour for wine, food and landscape lovers.

The Coonawarra
The terra rossa soil of the Coonawarra district, a few hours by car south east of Adelaide, is perfect for producing the big bold reds the area is renowned for.

McLaren Vale
A hop, skip and a jump south of Adelaide's spreading suburbs, McLaren Vale has a long history of producing big, brassy reds and delicate whites.

National Motor Museum Birdwood
Open daily (ex Christmas Day) 9am- 5pm This ia a great place to view Australia's Motoring history. It is the home of Australia's largest collection of important and interesting motor vehicles.

You can also spend some time at Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills, a popular town with tourist , The German Arms Hotel is good for lunch, then head for Oakbank and on to Birdwood. You may like to return to Adelaide via the scenic route through Chain of Ponds. Top of Page
